The Soldier's Memorial Committee is gathering pictures of citizens who served in the military. The pictures will be scanned, returned to their owners and used by the Committee for fund raising/ future programs. Pictures may be left at the Town office or the Historical Society.

INVITATION TO BID
The Town of Baldwin is soliciting fixed price, per gallon
bids for: #2 Heating Oil and Diesel Fuel.
The Town uses approximately 9500 gallons of heating oil annually that serves the Fire Department, Municipal Garage, community center and Town Office. Approximately 7,000 gallons of diesel fuel is used between the Town Garage and Fire Department.
A WINTER BLEND MIX OF 60/40 BY NOVEMBER 1ST IS REQUIRED.
The Town is looking for a contract to cover a one-year period for up to the above quantities.
ANY LIMITATIONS OR RESTRICTIONS ON THE BID MUST BE INCLUDED IN YOUR BID SUBMITTAL
Bids will be awarded separately for both heating oil and diesel.
Sealed and written bids must be received at the Baldwin Town Office by: 4:OOPM
Tuesday, June 24, 2025.
The bids will be publicly opened that evening @ 6:00PM at the selectmen's meeting.

Notice to Baldwin Residents
The Baldwin Select Board is seeking two residents to serve as our community’s representatives on the Saco River Corridor Commission. Baldwin has a history of leadership on the SRCC. The Saco River Corridor Commission serves 20 municipalities. Each town is represented by a regular and alternate member. Membership is as diverse as the communities served and represents a cross-section of valley life and values.
Serving without compensation for their time, efforts, or expenses, the commissioners are constant proof that land use controls can be effectively and sensibly administered at a regional level by area residents. Members and alternates are appointed by their respective town officials.
Members are appointed to serve a three-year term. Regular members have full voting and participatory rights in all proceedings of the full commission and its committees. Alternate members are allowed to participate in all proceedings of the full commission but may only vote in the absence of the regular member. Both regular and alternate members may serve on subcommittees.

ATTENTION BALDWIN RESIDENTS

The Baldwin Select Board will hold a Special Town Meeting at the Community Center to vote on the following article.
To see if the Town will vote to authorize the municipal officers to spend an amount not to exceed 3/12ths of the FY25 budget amount in each category of the Baldwin annual budget during the period from July 1, 2025, to the September Annual Town Meeting.
The Select Board recommends approval of this article.
Since Baldwins switch several years ago to 1 July to 30 June fiscal year, the Annual Town Meeting has been held before 30 June, and the above article was not needed. The Select Board decided to hold this year’s Annual Town Meeting in September to provide complete FY25 year data to help budget for FY26 and in anticipation of a preliminary audit report.

Code Enforcement Officer
The Town of Baldwin is seeking a Code Enforcement Officer and Local Plumbing Inspector
to begin as soon as available.
The position is part time, estimated up to 800 hours per year.
Office hours in the Baldwin Community Center by appointment.
Other hours as necessary to meet demand for inspections.
Compensation is hourly and commensurate with qualifications.
Travel reimbursement to job sites is paid.
Paid training available to gain required State certifications if not already certified.
